JUNIOR PROGRAMS

Youth Progression

Designed to create a healthy tennis experience, these development stages support learning and advancement based on physical, social, mental and emotional levels of the athlete.

Junior Team Tennis

USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is a very popular junior recreational program and Georgia has one the largest in the country. This nationwide program is designed to provide juniors with a fun team format consisting of singles, doubles and mixed play for boys and girls of all skill levels. It is a great way to gain match experience and earn an NTRP rating. Local leagues can qualify players to the USTA Junior Team Tennis State Championships (link), with further advancement to the National Championship (link) competition.

The JTT play calendar is designed to complement the school tennis season. Middle School tennis is typically in the fall, followed by the fall/winter JTT season. High School tennis is typically in the spring, followed by the spring/summer JTT season.

This gives kids the chance to play tennis year-round and continue growing their love for the game.
